By downloading or using Scanly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TepuyTech ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Scanly, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you accept these Terms.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Scanly for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its source code.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Use the app to build a competing product or service.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the app.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the documents you scan, store, and share using Scanly. You agree not to use the app to:

• Scan, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted materials without authorization.
• Commit fraud or create counterfeit documents.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe on the rights of any third party.

4. Intellectual Property

Scanly and all related content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the name, logo, design, and software — are owned by TepuyTech and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks, logos, or branding.

You retain full ownership of the documents you scan. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

5. Third-Party Services

Scanly integrates third-party services including Google Sign-In, Firebase, and Google AdMob. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

6. Disclaimers

Scanly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TepuyTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Scanly, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Scanly at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or us. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Scanly after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TepuyTech operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
